The MudSling™ R nineT rear suspension guard is designed to fit all R nineT models - Classic, Pure, Scrambler, Urban GS, and Racer.

NOTE: Installation to the original "Classic" R nineT with the OEM BMW shock requires an extra step in the process.  Before placing your order, be sure to read this Classic R nineT Installation Supplement here or below.

MudSling™ R nineT protects these bikes' wide open rear suspension area from stone chip damage, mud accumulation, and reduces rain splash-out. Protect your R nineT from the start. It is designed to look slender and integrated with the minimal styling of the R nineT. Effective coverage area is 8" wide x 12.5" long to protect the shock while reducing splash out to the sides onto riders' legs. MudSling™ R nineT is precision injection molded in resilient polypropylene with a fine texture matching other plastic part surfaces on the R nineT.

MudSling™ R nineT fits with the BMW shock, Ohlins BM650, and other premium shocks. Some adjustment of the hydraulic spring preload adjuster position may be needed on your model.  Installation is simple using four screws to existing points on the frame.
