X-Head v.3 Cylinder Guards fit 2005~2009 R1200 GS, GSA, RT, HP2 and 2006~2010 R1200 R models.

MaMo X-Head v3's are unique in the market for these early BMW R1200 models - tough and wide, to protect both the valve and spark plug covers. Molded in an impact resistant polymer, the X-Head v3's protect a broad area & are the best looking solution available.

If you want to use crash bars as well, the X-Head v3 are compatible with a number of brands.

If your bars fit BMW's OEM cylinder guards, they will fit with the X-Head v3. Please note: If your crash bars have had an impact, check that you have a minimum of 15mm clearance between the closest part of the left side valve cover and the inside of the crash bar to assure a good fit.
