Testimonials:
Hi Andrew,
I got the mudsling from Nippy Normans a few months ago, but wanted to wait until I have used it before sending you my experiences,
So, living in the northern latitudes of the UK, as you can guess, the Mudsling earns its keep. It rains a lot here, and as I live in the countryside, there is also lots of farm machinery bringing ample amounts of mud onto the road as well as general run off from the fields. Also, road maintenance often consists of scattering gravel on the roads, spraying on hot tar, and letting the traffic bedding the mixture in. Despite all this, my wee bike has not suffered this year; the Avant on the front and the MudSling on the rear has kept it clean.
The MudSling though is the star of the show. It is amazing; it fits in so well to the bike that it is almost invisible, yet stops everything getting near the rear shock and swing arm - not to mention my legs. Unless you actually experience it first hand, it is hard to describe. Tar splatter, mud, and the white shock stays pristine Yes, really.
WilliamComment:
Just installed the X-Head, MudSling, and Avant 1250 products you delivered a few days ago and have to tell you something you already know; these are really very well designed and manufactured bits. I then read your "about MaMo" section and see your roots in design. Super nice and I have already told several people w/BMW's that they need to look at MaMo. I hope not to scratch the valve covers, but with a GS, that is certainly not a practical aspiration, BUT, I have confidence that they will protect better than prior valve covers I have used from Wunderlich, Touratech, BMW on prior GS'. Feel free to post this wherever you may get attention/benefit.
Thank you!
Rick
"As the owner of RawHyde Adventures one of my biggest challenges is dealing with the damage inflicted on our bikes by our students as they learn the off-road riding techniques that we teach. In our 2020 season my single biggest expense was replacing cracked valve covers on our BMW 1250 GS’s. I am really pleased to say that in all of 2021 we did not have a single valve cover damaged and I attribute that to the fact that we installed the MachineArt X-Head 1250 cylinder guard on ALL 35 of our big GS’s."

"The Machineart Moto X-Heads have, hands down, saved my cylinder heads. My R1250 GS has been through some really rough terrain, and I never feel worried about a puncture. I wouldn't ever go without the Machineart Moto X-Heads to protect my motorcycle."
