ADVance Guard BMW KIT 1-GS 13

ADVance Guards Guards for BMW's R1300GS/A are uniquely designed with patented multi-functional adjustability that provides high or low wind coverage enabling riders to adapt to a variety of temperature and weather conditions - without using tools.

ADVance Guard 1300 GS/A Kits are available for GS Trophy models that fit easily since the Trophy 1300 does NOT have BMW's turn signal integrated hand guards.  Fitment to the other GS 1300 models requires that the BMW turn signal hand guards be removed, and Trophy model BMW turn signals be installed as shown on the Black model in these photos. See your BMW Dealer for the needed parts. 

IMPORTANT NOTE: To provide sufficient clearance between the ADVance Guards and the R1300GS TFT display and the top of the fuel tank when turning the handlebars to full Left and Right positions, accessory Offset Handlebar Risers need to be installed before use. Here are two brands from which to choose:

• Wunderlich ERGO+ Handlebar Risers Part #WUN-13300-000
• Touratech Offset Bar Risers Part #035-5258.

NOTE:  BMW Handlebar Risers #3271-7923-068 do not offer any handlebar setback so they do not provide needed clearance between the ADVance Guard Frame and the TFT display when turning the handlebars full Left and Right.

Adjustable Wind Protection
ADVance Guard's height adjustable Sliding Shield and easily removable front Insert permit more or less air flow to adapt to weather conditions.
