We try to clearly communicate how to install a product via the instruction sheet included with each item and the videos posted on the MachineartMoto YouTube Channel but don’t always anticipate how they will be interpreted. I’ve had several guys call me, including one dealer, who insisted that the MudSling for the R1200GS did not fit their bike, citing a mismatch of a couple of inches. I asked them to send photos showing the fit and have been amused to find that the piece was being placed on the bike backwards. If instructions can be misinterpreted they will be some of the time so I learn from it and will use this space to provide installation tips. Look for these insights under each product name’s pull-down tab.
