X-Head Cylinder Head Guards provide wide area protection at a price in between BMW’s narrow safety bar and its wide aluminum guard. X-Head is made of tough pressure-formed polycarbonate

and is designed to protect both the valve and spark plug covers. Even a driveway drop will cause a bike to roll onto the face of the valve cover and X-Head’s wide shape helps to protect more area. All materials will wear from abrasion at speed, but Polycarbonate exhibits good wear resistance.
